ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball and men's and women's indoor track and field. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for by UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Caleb Hageman, Jr., Northwestern
Charles City, Iowa/Charles City
- Averaged 27.0 ppg and shot 65 percent in two Northwestern wins
- Tallied a career-high 33 points and nine boards vs. North Central
- Scored 21 points on 10-of-16 shooting in critical win over Morris
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Abby Olson, Fy., Bethany Lutheran
Montevideo, Minn./Montevideo
- Averaged 22.5 ppg and 4 ast./g in two UMAC wins last week
- Shot 61 percent and went 7-of-10 from 3-point range
- Recorded 26 point, three steals and three assists vs. CSS
MEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Justin Pearson, Fy., Minnesota Morris
Elk River, Minn./Elk River
- Recorded two UMAC-best times at Cobber Open Saturday
- Won the 200-meter dash clocking 23.28
- Finished third in the 60-meter with a time of 7.25
MEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Fauston Wirtz, Jr., Wisconsin-Superior
Esko, Minn./Esko
- Top Division III finisher in weight throw at Twin Ports Invite
- Recorded toss of 14.26 meters (46-9.5) that was just off season-best
- Owns a UMAC-best mark in the weight throw this season
WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Mikaela Shepard, So., Wisconsin-Superior
Blaine, Minn./Blaine
- Helped 4 x 200-meter relay squad to second at Twin Ports Invite
- Placed second in 200-meter dash for second-best UMAC time
- Clocked personal-best time of 27.65
WOMEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Taylor Phillips, Jr., Wisconsin-Superior
Superior, Wis./Superior
- Top Division III finisher in shot put at Twin Ports Invite Saturday
- Recorded UMAC-best mark of 11.69 meters (38-4.25)
- Placed fifth in weight throw with toss of 13.67 meters (44-10.25)
