NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's and women's track and field teams had strong showings at the Carleton Relays, hosted by Carleton College, on Saturday.

MEN'S TRACK:
- In the men's 110 meter hurdles, Noah Larson placed sixth overall at 16.89. -1.3 seconds behind the first place finisher.
- Stefan Prince continues to rise as he set a personal record in the 200m 23.28, third on the all-time list. In the 800m, he shattered the outdoor school record by three seconds and gained an all-time personal best, with a time of 1:58.77.
- Noah Larson matched his top ten list performance in the men's high jump. Larson jumped to a second place finish – 1.90m (6-02.75).
- Josh Jablon completed his weekend with three season bests. In the Shot Put he put himself sixth on the all-time list with a throw over 43 feet. In discus, he tossed a 110 foot four inch throw that landed him fourth on the all-time list. Finally in the hammer, Josh threw himself the second all-time throw of 130 feet six inches.
- David Luehring became the first Bethany Viking male in school history to run the 10,000m race and finished with a respectable time of 37:13.
WOMEN'S TRACK:
- The women's 4x100 meter relay team comprised of Lydia Hildebrandt, Brianna Soutthivong, Kayla Norris, and Megan Rutt finished in third place with a time of 51.83.
- In the women's 400 meter hurdles, junior Morgan Sauer placed fourth in the event at 1:16.58.
- In a field of 27 runners, Lydia Hildebrant finished eighth overall in the 200 meter dash. Her official time was marked at 27.76.
- Megan Sauer overcame difficult conditions for the 5k as she set a personal record and school record outdoor with a time of 19:33. running to a seventh place finish while teammate Kirsten Elyea also set a personal record outdoor with a time of 20:32
- The women's 4x400 meter relay team of Kari Marzinske, Megan Rutt, Anna Lieske, and Kayla Norris had an impressive showing for the Vikings. The relay team finished at 4:25.32 – fifth place finish.
- The freshman, Megan Rutt, had another second place performance in the high jump. Rutt tallied a 1.52m (4-11.75) jump, while the winner of the event registered a 1.57m (5-01.75).
- Lindsey Stewart threw a 35.15 in the finals of the women's hammer throw – good for seventh out of 16 performers.
- In the women's shot put, freshman Gabby Baker had a mark of 10.50m (34-05.50) – finishing second in the event.
