Baseball banquet honors seniors after most decorated season in NCAA DIII

Mankato, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran Baseball team held a banquet at the new Honsey Hall on campus to honor the school’s most decorated season since joining NCAA Division III and the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
 
The team came together to show appreciation for its graduating seniors, who in the four years playing ball in a Vikings uniform recorded a 107-46 overall record.
 
The Vikings finished the 2011 season 27-10 overall, and a school best 18-2 in the UMAC. In addition to the impressive record, BLC had the most student-athletes honored in recently history. Seven players earned All-Conference awards, including UMAC Rookie of the Year, two players earned Academic All-Conference awards, and three players were named to the All-Region team.
 
In addition to outside acknowledgment, the coaches came together to vote on who they thought should be recognized with team awards. Below is a list of all the individuals recognized at the banquet for outstanding contribution to the 2011 season success.
