Softball All-Conference Awards Announced

Mankato, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) All-Conference Awards for softball were announced today with four Bethany Lutheran student-athletes receiving honors.

Softball season ends with third place finish in UMAC Post-Season

Duluth, Minn.—Viking softball survived the first day of the UMAC Post-Season Tournament, but then fell to Northwestern on the second day to end their season.

Softball knocks out second seed in first post-season appearance

Duluth, Minn. – The fourth seeded Viking softball team knocked out the second seeded Minnesota-Morris Cougars in their first ever UMAC Post-Season appearance. Bethany Lutheran played the first seeded team keeping the lead until the sixth, but eventually falling to the St. Scholastica Saints. In a double elimination tournament Bethany Lutheran was matched up with the Cougars and won 4-3 to stay alive to compete tomorrow.

BLC softball appears in its first UMAC Post-Season Tournament tomorrow

Mankato, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran softball team has advanced to the UMAC Post-Season Tournament for the first time in the school’s history, this coming after two back to back school record breaking seasons.

Softball faces St. Scholastica in last regular season conference game

Mankato, Minn.—Bethany softball took on St. Scholastica for the last time in the regular season at Caswell Park during the UMAC Crossover. St. Scholastica went home with the win, leaving the Vikings at 17-18 for the season and 12-9 conference.

Softball clinches berth to UMAC Playoffs

Mankato, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran softball team clinched their first berth to the UMAC Post-Season Tournament with two wins today in the conference crossover. The Vikings finished 2-1 on the day and will play one more game tomorrow to finalize seeding in the playoffs.

Softball logs another conference win

Mankato, Minn. — Bethany softball clobbered Northland in a single game this afternoon. The Vikings went away with the upper hand, bringing their conference standing to 10-7 to remain fourth in the standings.
